Lord of the Flies

A plane crashes on a deserted island. The only survivors are a group of school boys. There are no homes or schools, no adults, no rules and before long the boys' fragile sense of order begins to collapse. They live in a land of bright exotic birds and dark blue seas, but at night their dreams are inhabited by a terrifying beast…Soon this well behaved group has turned into a bloodthirsty and murderous tribe…

William Golding’s classic novel is adapted by Nigel Williams into a stunning, powerful and moving stage play. This new production is directed by Cameron Jack, whose previous shows at the Broadway Studio have included A Clockwork Orange, Trainspotting, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest and The Elephant Man.

When the Cat's Away

An intensely insecure George (Calvin Morris) ducks out of going on a second honeymoon with his wife Mildred (Audrey Reid) and sends his sister in law instead (Lavern Archer). Things seem set to go his way until womanising brother in law (Chris "Johnny" Daley) blackmails him into hosting a romantic party for four, which takes place in George's house but then Mildred his wife returns. A hilarious Jamaican comedy that will have you rolling down the aisles in laughter.

Caesar

In a country edging towards dictatorship, two friends stand opposed. One is a charismatic politician chasing absolute power, one is a man determined to do the right thing, even if it means murder. Caesar is the story of their conflict.

William Shakespeare's classic of conspiracy and assassination is adapted by the veteran playwright and critic Charles Marowitz into a sharp, fast-moving production that uses Shakespeare's words to tell a very modern story.

This British premiere is directed by David Cottis and designed by Fiona Parker, the team responsible for last year's Richard III
