Caesar

In a country edging towards dictatorship, two friends stand opposed. One is a charismatic politician chasing absolute power, one is a man determined to do the right thing, even if it means murder. Caesar is the story of their conflict.

William Shakespeare's classic of conspiracy and assassination is adapted by the veteran playwright and critic Charles Marowitz into a sharp, fast-moving production that uses Shakespeare's words to tell a very modern story.

This British premiere is directed by David Cottis and designed by Fiona Parker, the team responsible for last year's Richard III
