Ladywell Centre – visit the world, Tuesday 23 October

Drop into the Ladywell Centre and celebrate Black History Month and World Mental Health Awareness Day on Tuesday 23 October between 10am and 4pm. The event will feature:

• entertainment from around the world including African poetry, Egyptian dance, calypsonian and Lewisham Concert Band
• demonstrations and taster sessions of martial arts, yoga, henna tattoos, head and hand massage
• information on mental health services, health and safety, health checks, recycling,
• food and refreshments, from cake to Caribbean delicacies.

The Mayor of Lewisham will open the event at 10.30am.
