Black History Month Bookfair


Publishers Bright Books and Tamarind Books will be showcasing their wares at Lewisham Library on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th October. There will be opportunities to purchase. Participating authors include Verna Wilkins, Rodney Hinds and Simon Owoade.

Black History Month October 2008


Lewisham launches Black History Month 2008 with over 80 events across the borough. There are activities and events for all the family, from a Hands on Africa family workshop at the Horniman Museum, to storytelling in Lewisham libraries, from an Under 5s singalong to a celebration of pensioner diversity. Join us for walking tours, drama, music and exhibitions.
