 21st Century Tea Dance at Blackheath Common, Lewisham
Entelechy Arts have updated the tea dance for the twenty-first century. Supported by the Positive Ageing Council and the Young Mayor’s Team, these tea dances have been have been developed in collaboration with Lewisham Homebound Library Service to support isolated older people in their communities. On July 31 you can swing and shuffle to the sounds of music hall star turned rapper, Ida Barr and swing band, The Jive Five.
Free entry but early booking is advised.

Sing out! Blackheath Common, Lewisham
BBC singers join 15 local choirs and 500 members of the community to sing for the afternoon in an eclectic range of musical styles. Come and join in the song.

Look up and smile: Skyline walk, Deptford Lounge, Lewisham
Time to stop navel-gazing! This free walk for seniors around Deptford and New Cross focuses on what we usually ignore: tall buildings, distant views and wildlife on high. Bring binoculars and a waterproof jacket.
