"Please join us on 19 May at New Cross Library, 2pm-5pm, for our first year celebration and launch of our new name, New Cross Learning. There will be a street dance performance, music, a book quiz, a book sale, refreshments and a storyteller. Suitable for all the family. Get there early for the activities (mainly 2-3pm)!
We can hardly believe it’s been a year since the library was shut; 3 months later Lewisham Council granted us a license to operate, working with the brilliant Community organisation Bold Vision. And we couldn’t have done it without the generosity and time of hundreds of local people.
