Dominoes at the Brockley Jack

Dominoes
by Crofton Park Players
Is a play about a family torn apart by grief….. Dominic lies dead on a trolley in Lewisham Hospital. He ‘bled out his life' in a newsagent in Streatham. His family go through the motions of everyday life without purpose until …they find the old man's game that Dominic and his father used to play. Together they learn the game, rebuild their lives and take the 2012 Olympics by storm.Dominoes is a tragedy in reverse!Crofton Players are a community theatre company that produces new drama that is relevant to inner-city audiences. The rationale is to create new plays that will tell the stories of ordinary people in the inner-city through the exploration of diverse cultures, traditions and personal experiences.
Crofton Players grew out of the need for young Lewisham actors to find an outlet for their talents; to be given the opportunity to perform the work they were producing in schools and colleges to real audiences about vital issues and themes surrounding their lives in a hard-hitting - sometimes brutal reality, and bring it to life on the stage.Wednesday 15 - Saturday 18 February at 7.45pmTickets: £10, £7 conc.
