A walk up the creek - Deptford Creek Walks

A unique opportunity to walk up a wild riverbed in central London. Deptford Creek is at the heart of a Lewisham's riverside regeneration, but is still quietly neglected and rich in wildlife. It carries the Ravensbourne from Deptford Bridge to the Thames and supports a great diversity of plant and animal life.

The Creekside Education Trust will take you on walk up this riverbed on fortnightly Sundays from February to May.

  • 1st & 22nd March
  • 5th & 19th April
  • 3rd & 17th May
Prices: Adults £8.50, children and concessions £5, 2 adults and 2 children £20
For adults and accompanied children 9 years and older. Walkers need to be reasonably fit. Wear old clothes - waders, waterproofs and walking sticks will be provided.
