
Lewisham country fayre is back for its second successful year and will include floral frocks, prize jams, London's meatiest sausages and the best of Lewisham’s home grown talent. With Chas ‘n’ Dave leading the knees up, the fayre promises to be a fun and funny (and free) day out as well providing a quirky celebration of Lewisham's rural history.
Come and test your talents on a whole range of horticultural, craft and cookery competitions. Anyone with green fingers or artistic talents is invited to showcase their creative skills. Non-specialist, light-hearted categories are:

- best drawing with a Harvest theme
- best photograph of rural Lewisham
- funniest shaped vegetable
- best fruit or vegetable sculpture
- largest fruit or vegetable
- best flower arrangement
- best jam
- best cake
- best hand knitted item
Entries will be judged at 4pm
Events on the day include:
- Performance by legendary duo Chas ‘n’ Dave, tinkling the ivories for a grand old London knees up – with support from Dan Ogus, the Becks Marshall Band, Julie Felix, PJ Wright and Guy Fletcher
- A vintage fair – affordable treasures from yesteryear! You can also bring your favourite items of clothing to the 'Mend & Make' Do stall or join in Knit & Natter
- Exclusive limited-edition sausages from Lewisham's renowned 'Sausage Man'. The super meaty ‘Lewisham Banger’ will boast more meat per bite than any other!
- The Hoola Extravaganza! Hip-twirling hoola performances and workshop by Hoop Lala as seen on this years Britain’s Got Talent!
- The “Lewisham’s Got Talent” finalists - the best that Lewisham has to offer including winners Steven Ashman and Ksharde McKenzie-Riley
- Seedy Sunday - Lewisham’s first seed-swapping event – ‘growing' in popularity every year!
- Dr Bike - free bike check ups, advice and ‘Pimp your Bike’ competition
- Fine food market with local fayre
- Children's' farm
- Auditions for 'The Recorders' - Dig out your old recorder and audition to join what will be Lewisham's finest non professional recorder ensemble!
